The sensational female pop icon Kesha hasn’t been around in the EDM scene for long, and now she makes a comeback after five years because of a legal battle between herself and her manager, Dr.Luke, engulfed in accusations of sexual assault.

She started the return last year when she sang for Zedd’s track “True Colors” and toured on Mad Decent Block Party in many cities. And now, the American singer and songwriter has dropped a new single and gave a news of the official launch of her album “Rainbow” on August 11.

The album will contain 14 tracks and tapped features from Eagles of Death Metal, Dolly Parton, and The Dap-Kings Horns.

Praying” is a deeply emotional and heart touching track which reminds us of Mike Posner’s “Be As You Are”. The song’s lyrics are hitting deep and straight into the hearts signifying pain and sorrow. Kesha sings:

“I’m proud of who I am/ No more monsters I can breathe again/ And you said that I was done/ But you were wrong and now the best is yet to come/ Cuz I can make it on my own/ I don’t need you, I found strength I’ve never known.”
