There is one thing in the EDM industry, and that is making some amazing tracks which will dust the most popular ones of the time.
Last Monday, Wiz Khalifa’s huge hit song “See You Again” beat all odds out on Psy’s ever popular track “Gangnam Style” by acquiring 2,894,026,649 views over Psy’s 2,894,022,885 views for “Gangnam Style”. The year of 2012 is most memorable for the viral sensation by South Korean singer PSY and his track. “Gangnam Style” held the record for most viewed videos for five consecutive years until “See You Again”, a tribute track to the late Paul Walker of Fast & Furious, dusted the records.
Wiz’s track also topped the Billboard Hot 100 for ten straight weeks, and that is one commendable feat for sure.
Charlie Puth tweeted in a comment on the accomplishment of this unbelievable feat on Twitter.
For the record, I joined @YouTube in 2007 hoping to make a video that would reach 10,000 views. Just heard about See You Again…wow.
